Why is Rihanna still appearing in music videos? Should she be banned for encouraging domestic violence?

STRAUSSIAN asked:

Whenever little girls see her, they’ll think of domestic violence, and how it’s okay for men to hit them, and that they should make up with their abusers and continue the relationship.

That’s a horrible message to send to young women.

Should Rihanna be banned from the public airwaves for encouraging domestic violence?

  1. She should’ve been banned a long time ago for making sh*tty music.

  2. “Whenever little girls see her, they’ll think of domestic violence, and how it’s okay for men to hit them, and that they should make up with their abusers and continue the relationship.”

    I don’t think that’s true.

  3. Is this a fakepost? Let this be a fakepost; it’s just too unfunny to be true.

  4. i understand what your saying, and i do concur. i think rihanna should just give it up and yes tecnnecly she shod be banned

  5. No, I think that’s stupid. She shouldn’t be banned. Chris Brown was the one who got violent with her. He beat on her. She is still a good role model, though she made a mistake. She’s not with him anymore.

Some people (like me) can see past her personal life, and focus on the important thing: her music. I still love her, and she is still a great artist. :D

  6. She’ll stop singing when she realizes most women hate her.

I’ll beat the fuc* out of her when i see her someday.

  7. does it really matter?
    they both make mills
    they both make descent music
    both r celebs

so wut if she got back?
she wont b banned, she got too many fans lovin her

  8. That’s ridiculous. No

  9. This question is dumb. You should be banned from life for asking it.

  10. I was beaten by my parents, and I am posotive that when people see me that they don’t shun me for what happened because of some one else’s wrong choices in life.

  11. She didn’t continue the relationship, and when Chris Brown plead guilty and agreed to serve community service and prohbation, he also agreed to stay away from her.

Sh’es not encouraging it. Excuse her if she doesn’t want to write a tell-all book about the experience. She shouldn’t be banned. She didn’t do anything wrong.

  12. maybe she should
I don’t get why you ask this on this section

  13. just because she went through that doesn’t mean shes going to let it effect her career & life; she just moved on from it & kept going on with herself. just because some one goes through domestic violence wont mean they are not going to recover & just stay locked in & never show their face any more. no ones perfect; everyone makes mistakes.

  14. The young lady (who’s music I’ve never heard) agreed to testify against her batterer if it went to trial, so…No, she should be praised for encouraging people to speak out and stand up against domestic violence, and her fans should continue to buy her music. Such as it is.

  15. Should women on chemo be banned for encouraging Cancer???

And she’s not still with him, he’s been ORDERED to stay away from her.

  16. I disagree, because no one in a public should ever be banned for “encouraging domestic violence.” I mean that doesn’t even make sense, How the F^ck can you encourage domestic violence? Everyone is different and people handle things in a different ways.

BTW her music does blow wombat c0ck!!!

  17. No she should not be banned. When I think of Rihanna I see a girl that has been through a lot && is trying to help Chris Brown figure out his life. She is her own person and she will make her own mistakes, but she will never be banned.

  18. Everyone thinks she’s “strong” for being with an abusive man. If she was strong she would have got the hell out of there.

    I agree with you.

  19. She should be banned for making such BAD Music.

  20. yes!!!!! I hate her shes evil and ugly
